RainSPIRIT introduces transparency into the bribing mechanism by allowing projects to purchase "packages" of votes each week at a fixed price. Each package contains 1M votes and falls within a specified price range determined for the week, meaning projects will know exactly how many votes they receive and the maximum amount they will have to pay.
While the exact price per package is based on the demand for voting power each week, prices typically fall around the market value of the distributed SPIRIT. For example, if 1M votes earns a pool $1000 worth of SPIRIT emissions, the bribe pricing for that 1M votes will likely be similar. In addition to the transparent pricing, these costs are significantly lower for many projects than the costs they pay in the public bribes offered to inSPIRIT holders.
